Self Love…

When I started the journey to a healthy me, I didn’t know if it would work. But I wanted to do something for me. I started on the journey to love myself. A lot of people may reject this by saying everyone loves themselves but loving yourself is a lot more than that.

It is taking care of yourself at all times, making sure you are well in all aspects- physical and mental. You may need to put in extra efforts but it is worth it. it wasn’t easy and it is scary to do a lot of things alone but when you want to do it, you can. Will – that is the key.

Women sometimes forget that they are important, that they need to care for themselves. They need this not because who else will be there to care for their families but because they love themselves as much as the other person in their family.

We dress up when we go outside and are in the most weirdest clothes when we are home. It makes a difference when we don’t care about ourselves at home. The feeling of doom is always there, the feeling of monotony consumes us.

What we forget is that we can break it. Look in the mirror at that amazing person and love the person you see. Care for yourself as much as you care about your family. Hope and keep hoping.

When I look at myself after losing 15 kgs and stopping insulin, I do not see how better I look. I see the person who is changed and who loves herself. I see a different me. I see a different hobby. I see power. I see confidence. I see will. I see self love…..
